Each employee has one role (System, Clerk, Clinician, Finance or Admin) plus a few personal permissions (Provider, Prescriber, Supervisor, Finance allowed, Accounts allowed). PsyTrace shows each user only what she/he may use.

Limits that apply to everybody

  • Client Category: an employee assigned to a Category sees and finds only the clients of that Category, everywhere in PsyTrace.
  • Service/Department: you may add to and change only the Episodes of Care of your own Service/Department.
  • Discharged Episodes are locked: they can be viewed, not changed.
  • Client menu: Internal Client Number and Merge Duplicate Clients are for System users; Category is hidden from users who have a Category themselves; viewing a client's test results is for clinicians.
